God Will Calm The Waves

"He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed." Psalm 107:29

 I love this quote because it really illustrates the picture of God calming the storms in our life. When we face hard times, or rough waters, we have to trust in God and know that He will be there to calm them. Think of it this way, when a boat is going across the waters and the waters start to get rough, it is not as though the boat can just turn around and go back. The boat has to ride out the storm and, once it passes, once God calms the waves, the boat can proceed on to its final destination. So, if you are in rough waters today, I want to encourage you to trust God and let Him calm the waves in your life, and once they pass, you will be able to go on to your final destination that God has prepared for you.
