His Purpose Prevails

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails." Proverbs 19:21

 We all like to have a plan for what is about to happen. We like to lay it all out in front of us and pinpoint where we are going to go next. But, our plans rarely go as we plan them, and when our plans don't go as we had hoped, we stress out, get overwhelmed, and try to piece together a new plan as fast as we possibly can. Well let me tell you today that you don't have to do all of those things! You don't have to make the perfect plan so that everything will go along smoothly, doing this will only wear you out, and especially during this time of year, we have to trust that even though our plans may not work out, God's purpose for us is what prevails. God has a purpose for us. We may not even know what this is yet, but that is why we need to listen to Him when it comes to our plans. Let God take the reigns and know that His purpose will prevail.
