Maybe this verse is hitting home for you today. Maybe you are hurting right now and honestly, you don't feel like it's ever going to end. But know this, the pain that you are feeling right now is like walking through a dark tunnel, it is pitch black and you can't see anything in front of you, but if you keep walking, if you don't give up, you will find the light at the end of that tunnel. That light is not just a way out of the tunnel, but it is joy. So keep in mind today, that no matter how hurt you are and no matter how deep the pain seems to be, that can't even compare the the joy that God has in store for you! He wants you to keep going so you can not only get out of that dark tunnel, but so you can experience all that He has prepared for you, and once you step into that blessed light at the end of the tunnel, you will be so overcome with joy that you will completely forget about the darkness of the tunnel. So just know today, that joy is coming.
