Lift Your Eyes To The Hills

"I lift up my eyes to the hills, from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2

 Are you stuck in a low spot today? Maybe that spot is a valley, a hole, or a ditch. You're not really sure how you actually got into the spot and you have no idea as to how to get out of it. Does this sound familiar to you today? Maybe this is you, and if it is, there is one thing that I really want you to remember, look up. No matter how deep you feel like you are right now, as it says in Psalm 121:1-2, lift your eyes to the hills. Look up from wherever it is that you are to see the higher power above you. As you look up, know that your help comes from God. He will get you out of that hole, that valley, that ditch. He will lift you up and bring you to a higher place. But, when we are in that low place, it is so easy to have doubts and hesitate that we will ever get out of it. Maybe you are even asking yourself why God would ever come to rescue you. Well, He is going to lift you higher because this is the God who made heaven and earth. He created everything and everybody, and He cares for you. Think of how much that actually means and you will know why God wants to get you to a higher place. So today, if you are wanting to get out of that low spot and get to a higher point with the help of God, all you have to to is lift your eyes to the hills above you and trust that He will come through.
