God Is Able

"And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" 2 Corinthians 9:8

Maybe today, you are feeling like you are not able. You can't accomplish a task because you don't have enough of this or that, you are not strong enough, you are just not able. Is this you today? If it is, I pray for you, I pray that this message inspires you and encourages you so that you know that, despite what others are saying, despite what tricks your mind is playing on you, you are able.
Let's pick apart the verse that is above. In 2 Corinthians 9:8, it tells us this, "God is able to bless you abundantly." God, is able. No matter if you feel like you are or not, God is able for us, and even though we may not feel as though we have enough, we are not strong enough, or we just don't have what it takes, God will bless us because He is able, and He will bless us with the ability to see that we are, in fact, able.
Next, this verse tells us that, "in all things in all times, having all that you need." See that? Even though you may feel like you don't have enough of something, God will bless you with all that you need! He will fulfill your needs and take care of you! He is going to make sure that you always have enough.
Lastly, this verse tells us that, "You will abound in every good work." Now, after God blesses us so that we see that we are able and after He gives us all that we need, He tells us that we "will abound in every good work." I looked deeper into the word "abound." The definition of it states that the word abound means to come in big amounts and numbers. God is not just going to help you do "good" or "okay" in all you do, but He is going do bless us in large amounts! He is going to make sure that we abound, that we don't just get through, but we excel in whatever it is that we are doing!
And you know, all of this is because God is able. Three words, nine letters, but so much power.
