Have You Opened Your Gift?

 In our lives, God gives each and every one of us a gift. Now, we can't see this gift of course, because it is wrapped up in the package. But, inside that little present is something incredibly huge. Well what is it? You might be asking, and the thing is, I can't really answer that question. Why? Well, because the gift is a huge blessing for whoever's it is, but it is different each time. So today, I have a question that I have to ask you. Have you opened your gift?
 I love how Wolfgang Riebe puts it. "Everyone is gifted - but some people never open their package!" This is so incredibly true!  We all have that little box, that little package that God has given us, but we keep it tucked away where we don't really ever see it. Why aren't we taking that box out and ripping it open?
 I think many people are somewhat afraid though, afraid that, once they do open their gift, that they won't know what to do with it. That, if they open it, they will offend God because they won't use their gift in the right way. But let me tell you this today, God wants you to open this gift that He has blessed you with! He does not want you to just leave it sitting dusty on a shelf. And you know what? When you do open that gift, God will open doorways, create pathways, and build roads that you are able to take with your gift in your possession.
 So today, go out and open that gift. Open it, embrace it, and begin your new journey with it.
