You Don't Need Their Approval.

 What is the key to success? The answer can not really be easily defined can it? But what about the key to failure? Well, one of the aspects of that, as Ed Sheeran put, is "trying to please everyone." Yet, so many of us are spending our lives doing just that. And yes, we want to make other people happy, but trying and trying and trying to please them is just setting yourself up for failure.
 You see, when we are trying to please everyone, we are constantly trying to make them happy, we are constantly trying to make sure that they approve and are content with whatever it is that we are doing. But the question that I want to ask you is this; What about you? Are you making yourself happy by making sure that everyone around you is? Most likely, the answer is no, and I am not saying not to want to make these people happy and to love and care for them, because that is what God wants us to do, but God also wants us to be happy ourselves. God wants us to stop trying to please other people and start trying to please the only person that we really need to. And who is that? God. That's who. He is the only one in your life that you need to try to please. He is the only one that you need to seek approvement from. Because the opinions of this world can bog you down if you let them, but if stop letting the happiness, sadness, and the thoughts about you that others have rule your life and start living like all the approval that you need is from God, then you are going to begin to live such a new, fresh, eye-opening, and happy life that you never could have before.
