"Instead of giving myself reasons why I can't, I give myself reasons why I can." Unknown
I think that, so many times when it comes to our big dreams, big prayers, and big wishes, we try to be practical. We try to think about all the details. We try to plan how it is all going to work out and how we are going to make it happen. But here's the thing; When we do that, when we analyze our dreams, wishes, and prayers, we are not going to get anywhere! Why? Well, because, what you see in front of you is most likely not going to make much sense once you analyze it all, especially if they are big and extravagant dreams and prayers. And when it doesn't make much sense and when you don't see a way that it could work, you get frustrated, you get overwhelmed, and eventually, you give up. But we can avoid this! You see, we just need to change our mindset and know that we don't serve a practical God.
Now, what exactly do I mean when I say that we don't serve a practical God? Well you see, God doesn't look at a situation and think that it really doesn't make much sense. He doesn't figure out a way that you could work it all out easily, and He doesn't give up because the situation is just too impossible. But He takes the situation that looks impossible, He takes the situation that doesn't make any sense, that looks like it is just too big of a dream, it is too big of prayer for it to even be possible, and He makes it possible. See, He doesn't have a practical mindset, He has a supernatural mindset that says nothing, nothing at all, is impossible.
But you have to do your part too! You have to take your practical mindset as well and change it to a supernatural one. You need to quit giving yourself reasons that it's not possible and start giving yourself all the reasons it is; like the fact that you don't have to do it all because God's got it. You don't have to figure it all out, because God knows how to get that dream to come to pass.
