"I dwell in possibility..." Emily Dickinson
I think that, as adults and as our lives goes on, we tend to gain a more logical mindset. A mindset that says, this will work for these certain reason and that won't work because of these reasons here. Let's call it "the impossible mindset." But rather than looking at things as impossible, we need to, as Emily Dickinson says, "dwell in possibility."
So what does it mean to "dwell in possibility?" Well, you see, when we look logically at a situation, when we only see the reasons why it won't work and the reasons why it will work, we are neglecting the possibility of the situation. See, within this situation that God has for us, there are so many spectacular, amazing, wonderful blessings that you can't even imagine, but when you are only looking at it with an "impossible mindset," saying that you don't know how it would work, or, if it did, you don't know how it would be possible that this or that could happen to get you there, you not only are restricting yourself from the blessings that God has for you, but you might end up missing out on them all together!
So what do we need to do? How do we rid ourselves of this "impossible mindset?" Well the first thing you can do is to let your mind wander, don't keep it in that cage of logic and let yourself free from that cage as well. Start seeing the things that, even though they may seem impossible with logic, and know that, with God, they are easy for Him. They are miracles that He is waiting to perform just for you that will help lead you to the life that He has for you. But you have to remember, that you can't look at all of God's possibilities with logic, because then they will all seem quite impossible, but instead, get yourself out of that cage and do as Emily Dickinson put, "dwell in possibility."
