Rid Yourself Of That "I Can't" Attitude

"I can and I will." Unknown

In the world today, I think that so many of us go around with an "I can't" attitude, an outlook that sees things as impossible, that sees things in the perspective if, "oh, I can't do that, I'm not strong enough, I'm not smart enough, I'm not..." The list of excuses goes on and on as to why you can't do something, but when you tell yourself that you can't do something, than you'll miss out on the great opportunity that was just right in front of you.
But why is it that we tend this have this "I can't" attitude? Where does it even come from? Well, that attitude that you have today, it is stemming from your fears. Your fears that you have way down deep inside you that maybe you didn't even know that you had. That is what is causing you to have this attitude. But why? And how can we get rid of it?
You see, the reason that this "I can't" outlook stems from your fears is because, deep inside, whatever it is that you are saying you can't do, you are really just afraid of doing it. You are afraid of moving on on the road in front of you. You are afraid to face whatever it is that is in front of you so you say that you can't because your are not strong enough. You are afraid to go for that job or school so you say that you can't because you are not smart enough. But listen, if we would just stop being fearful, stop worrying about what lies ahead of us, and start knowing that God is holding our future and He is going to guide us and not let us fall, that is when you will begin to rid yourself of that "I can't" attitude. You will begin to see all your journeys, the path ahead of you, and whatever else you said that you couldn't do, you are going to start seeing it with an attitude that not only says "I can," but with one that also says "I will."
