Hand The Stress Over To God, And He Will Give You Rest.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

Life can be stressful. That's that, and maybe today you feel like everything is coming at you all at once. You feel like everything is just piling up more and more around you, and, trust me, I know, it can be hard. These situations can leave us feeling weak, helpless, and frustrated. But if you are finding yourself in this position today, there is one thing that you have to remember; See, God doesn't want us to deal with these things within ourselves, but He wants us to come to Him.
Is this where you are today? Are you in the situation where your plate is so full that you can't even see past it? If so, I have some news for you. I want to tell you that you don't have to be stressed. You don't have deal with it all and take it on your shoulders. Why? Well, that's because God's got it.
See, when we are stressed, in the moment, we take it all on ourselves. We let it all pile up on our shoulders, on our hearts, and on our souls, and we get down. We feel upset, stressed, and sad. But in this moment that we feel all of these things, the one thing that we are forgetting to feel is God's presence, and His hand reaching out to help us. So what you need to do is you need to get your head out of the stress that you are in and notice that God is right there, ready to take all of this stress, worry, and anxiety from you, but you have to hand it over. He isn't just going to take it, you have to actually stop consuming yourself with the "what ifs" and the "whys" and put it all in God's hands. And let me tell you that, once you do, you are going to feel such a sense of freedom, a feeling that you don't have to worry, you don't have to stress, because the God that made you and me and planned out every single aspect of our lives now has all that we once had on our plates in the palm of His mighty hand.
So today, be willing to hand everything that is stressing you out, that is worrying you, or causing anxiety over to God. Because once you do, He will fulfill His promise in Matthew 11:28, "He will give you rest."
