Do You Want To Be Stressed Or Blessed? The Choice Is Yours...

"Stop focusing on how stressed you are and remember how blessed you are." Unknown

We all have things that we can be stressed about, it really is true. Our lives are busy, things go wrong, we are nervous about something coming up; but see, we also have a lot of blessings. We have so many gifts that God has given us, waking up and getting out of bed this morning, and all of the miracles that God gives us daily. But you see, how we are feeling all depends on which side you are looking at.
Now, do you want to feel stressed, or feel blessed? The choice is ultimately yours, so why is it that so many people give into the stress? Well, think about it this way, both sides are equally as full and they each have a lot going on within them, but resisting your stress is like driving by an accident, you just have to look. But see, once we do look, we realize all that there is so much to be stressed about, and we let that overtake us, and eventually, we are going to walk around, tense and uptight, not able to enjoy all of the blessings that God wants us to have.
So how is it that we get out of this stress, or even just stay away from it all together? Well, one thing that we are able to do is to not look. Don't even give those things a second thought. Yes, you have to take care what needs to get taken care of, but while doing so, instead of worrying and anticipating the worst, which will eventually lead you into that stress, just trust that God is taking care of it. He has this situation, and you, in the palm of His hand, and He is not letting you go.
So let it be and give it to God, and in the meantime, focus on how blessed you are. Look at all of the many things that God has been so generous to give you. Appreciate them and rejoice in them and fill yourself with the happiness and blessing of all the miracles around you, and eventually, stress will not have anymore room within your heart, you spirit, or even your mind.
