Find The Beauty In Your Life

"Keep smiling, because life is a beautiful thing and there's so much to smile about." Marilyn Monroe

Life is beautiful, isn't it? Our journeys, the beauty surrounding us, and everything within it. But see, if we are so consumed with what is wrong, with our feeling of sadness or despair, or the things that could have been, we are never going to be able to experience that beauty that God has for us.
Now, I am not sure as to which boat that you are in today. Maybe you have totally shut yourself off from that blessing and the beauty of it and have locked yourself into your sadness, worry, and discouragement, or maybe you have realized how beautiful life is. Maybe you are enjoying it and living life to the fullest. Or maybe, you are somewhere in the middle. You enjoy life, but probably not as much as you should. Well today, I want to encourage those people, those people that are stuck in despair and sadness, and those people that are halfway there, I want to encourage you to step into living the beautiful life that God has for you, and step all the way in, too.
But how do we do this? That might be what you are asking right about now, but the answer is really quite simple. You just have to fix your mind on all of the great things that God has done in your life. Yes, things may be going wrong here and there, but think about how big those problems actually are in comparison to all of the great things that God has done for you. It seems pretty small now, doesn't it? Well you see, once we get our problems down to the smallest that they can be, we begin to look at something other than the negativity in our lives. Now it is just a point of realization. A point where you have to take the time and look around. Find joy in everything that God has created, the big things, like your home and your family, and the little things, like the sun shining in the sky and a hot cup of coffee.
When you realize realize how great and beautiful life is and how small your worry and sadness is compared to it all, you can't help but smile, because, as Marilyn Monroe said, "there is so much to smile about."
