Is There Room In Your Inn?

"And she gave birth to her firstborn, a Son. She wrapped Him in swaddling cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." Luke 2:7

With it being Christmas Eve today, and a merry one to you all, the story of Jesus being born is most likely on many of our hearts. We appreciate this story, and we acknowledge and rejoice in it, but have you ever applied this story, particularly this verse, to your own life?
Now, think about how it must have been as Mary and Joseph were traveling, they were on a long and tiring journey, and once they reached the inn that Mary expected to have her baby at, they told them that there was no room. No room for Joseph, no room for Mary, and no room for Jesus.
Now here is the question that I want to ask you today; do you have room in your "inn" for Jesus? Is your inn too busy to where it is overcrowded and you can't fit anyone, even Him, into it? Imagine how those specific innkeepers felt after the baby was born and they found out that that baby was Jesus. I would imagine that they would have felt regret for not letting Him in when they had the chance, and that is why I want to encourage you today! I want you to clean out your inn, get rid of some of the things that are crowding up your rooms, maybe the impure thoughts, the decisions that you know aren't wise, and the bad relationships, get rid of those, kick them out, and let Jesus in, and let Him know that there is room the inn.
