"My grace is sufficient for you." 2 Corinthians 12:9
God's grace; the undeserved favor and blessings that are granted to us. That is what the dictionary says that grace is. But sometimes, what we forget is that this grace that He has given us, it is flowing through us, and doing so continuously. But see, we get so caught up in worry and business, that we fail you realize the impact that it could have in our lives.
Now see, I want you to think about these words that God has given us in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you." See, first let's again, think about what God's grace is. God's grace is the favor that He gives us, even when we don't deserve it, and it is the blessings that He is continuously granting us with. That is grace. And we are told in this verse that that grace, that undeserved favor and blessing, is sufficient for us. See, before we were even born into this world, God knew that we would make mistakes. He knew that, every once in awhile, we would lose our way; and maybe you are in one of those places today and you feel like you don't deserve God's grace, but listen, since God already knew that you wouldn't be perfect and that you would mess up, He wanted us to know that this sufficient grace isn't just for those perfect people in the world. It isn't for those people who have never made a mistake, because, quite frankly, there aren't any! But instead, He created it for those that don't deserve it. He created it for those who may think that they have fallen short, who think that they are too broken. Everyone has access to this amazing source in our lives, you, my friend, just have to tap into it.
Now, when we let worry and fear take over, thinking about how it is impossible that we could get from here to there, how we don't think we have enough, that is when we aren't letting God's grace do its work. That is when we are choosing to tap into fear, rather than the promises that this grace holds. See, when it says that it is sufficient, it is saying that, even when it looks impossible, even when it seems as though you don't have enough, God's favor, His love, and His blessings are sufficient. He will give us all that we need to make sure that we get to where He has us to be in our lives. His grace provides, and that is what we need to remember.
So today, start tapping into God's grace that He has waiting for you, and rejoice in the promises that it holds.
