Take Your Eyes Off Of The Mountains And Fix Them On God

"I lift my eyes to the mountains, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2

 Today, maybe you are feeling like you are incapable of accomplishing whatever it is that lies in front of you. It just doesn't seem realistically possible and you just aren't strong enough, mentally, physically, or in the area of your talents, so you deem it impossible. But my friend, you need to stop looking at the mountains and start looking to the One who created them.
 Now, you see, so often we find ourselves caught up in the realities of this world. In the realities that are telling us that this is not possible, the realities that are saying that there is no way that it could be accomplished, that you don't have what it takes, and so on and so forth. That is what our realities are saying to us, so then why are we so caught up in them? Why do we let them discourage us? Well you see, we can see our realities, they are right out in front of us and we can see the answers in them. We can see the whys and the hows, even though they are saying that we can't. This, in turn, leads us to believing in these. We let them speak these words of discouragement into us and, after we hear those, we begin to believe them. We begin to think the same things and just let them begin to seep in, but see, we have another option. We don't have to submit to the realities of the world. We have to take our eyes off of the mountains, the earthly things that tell us that we are not strong enough, capable enough, or that this is not possible, and fix our eyes on God, the one who created those mountains, the one who created the entire earth, and the one that created you and me. See, God is going to give you all that you need to accomplish what He has you to, whether reality tells you that it is possible or not. Because see, God is not limited by this earth. He can do the impossible! And we have to put our trust in that and start thinking those thoughts instead of those of the realities right in front of us. We have to put our trust in God, and know that He is going to take us where He has us to go, no matter how impossible it seems. He is going to grant us with all that we could possibly need in order to live the life that He has for us.
 So today, take your eyes off of the realities of this life, for they are going to tell you that you can't and that it is not possible, take your eyes off of the mountains, and fix them on God, who created the mountains, the One who tells you that, with Him, anything is possible.
