Maybe today, you have been told no. You have been told that something isn't going to work out, that you weren't right for the job, that the opportunity just isn't going to go like you had thought it would. We all get told no, but see, it is what we do when we hear that no, it is what we do after we hear that response that really matters.
Now, what do I mean by this exactly? Well, you see, after we hear the response of no, once we realize that this isn't going to work out, we have a choice. We have a choice of whether we are going to let this no get us down. Are we going to get upset and discouraged? Are we going to keep trying at this closed door, even though we know that is isn't going to open? Are we going to let this discouragement keep us from the life that God has us to live? Or are we going to keep our chin up? Are we going to turn away from this closed door with hope and assurance that God has something better out there for us? With faith that, since this door closed, it is not in God's plan for our lives, and it just wasn't meant to be? I would hope that we would all make the decision to choose the latter of the two, that is, if we realized that we had the choice. See, I think that most of the time, when we are told no, we don't focus on the choice that we do have. We just automatically submit to the first option. The option of discouragement and of frustration. The option in which, as we are facing this closed door, our back is turned towards everything else that God has in store for us.
So, my friend, if you are in the place of being told no, I want to encourage you. I want to tell you that, if it didn't happen, that it just wasn't meant to be. It wasn't in God's plan that He has for your life, and that He has something ten times better in store for you. But to see it, you are going to need to stop knocking on those closed doors, turn around, and witness all that God has in store for you. He s leading you to something that He has planned for you, my friend. Something that is so much better than whatever it is behind that closed door, so, I highly recommend that you make the choice today to start following Him, and trusting in wherever it is that He leads you.
Have a fantastic day! God bless you!
