You Think You're Not Enough, But God Sees Differently

 Maybe today you are feeling incapable. You are feeling as though you are not enough to conquer what it is that you have you in front of you, that you do not have the qualifications to meet your dreams or your goals. But let me tell you, my friend, that none of these things are true, that you are capable and enough, that you do have the qualifications, only because God made you that way.

 So many times we are harder on ourselves than anyone else is. We tell ourselves that we aren't enough, that we won't be able to do this or that, that it is too difficult, that we are too weak, or not smart enough, and maybe this is where you are finding yourself today. In a position as to where you are feeling these things about yourself. 

 See, when we think these things, we are only thinking the worldly thoughts about ourselves. We are thinking about the things that make sense in the natural, reasons that we can't achieve them, and realistic expectations that we know we can't meet just as we are. This is when we start feeling down, when this is what it is that we are looking at. When we see ourselves in this light, it is bound to discourage us and bring us down, but see, we don't have to focus on the earthly thoughts about ourselves, but we have the option to focus on the Heavenly thoughts that our Father has for us; the thoughts that He wants you to have about yourself. 

 See, God created you. He shaped you and He molded you into the person that He has you to be, and He is continuing to do so! He knew who you were and had a place for you in, not only this life that He had planned out for you, but in His heart before you were even born, and guess what? He wants to see you flourish and thrive in this life that He has given you. He will defy the natural odds so that you can get to where He has you to be, and that's not all; He also deems you capable, He deems you worthy, smart, strong, and He wants to let you know that you matter to Him. He is telling you that He cares for you, that you are a valuable and irreplaceable creation. 

 We can't let the lies of the world overtake us, so today, start listening to what God is saying about you, and start believing in those thoughts.
