Right Here, Right Now, God Has You Right Where You Are Supposed To Be

 In your life today, maybe you feel as though you should be further along in your journey than you are, that you should have accomplished more, or already found and fulfilled God's purpose and plan for your life. If this is you today, I want to encourage you with the fact that right now, God has you right where He wants you to be.
 Now, I think that so many times we get caught up in the idea that we are not where we are supposed to be or that we should be further along in our life's journey because we are looking at others around us and comparing our journey to theirs. We see where they are in their lives and see where they are going and that right there is when we start feeling bad about ourselves. That is when we get discouraged and begin thinking about how we aren't as far as them or that we don't even know which path to take whereas they are already walking down that path. But listen, one very important thing that you have to know is that God put them on their journey and us on our own. Their journey isn't ours, it is very different and it is God's specific plan that He has for us, not for them or for anybody else, but His plan for us is what we need to follow, for it is specifically designed for God's journey that He has planned out for our life.
 Now see, if we would fix our focus towards that fact rather than comparing ourselves to others, then we are going to come to peace with the fact that right here, right now, in this very moment, and every other moment following, God has you right where He wants you to be. This moment that you are in is part of His journey of your life, and even though it may not seem like much is happening to contribute to this journey, God is shaping you amidst everything you do, and in doing so, He is preparing you for whatever it is that He has in store for you tomorrow.
 So just trust Him. You don't have to understand where it is that you are going, because each and every day, God is leading you and He is placing you right where you need to be.
