So many of us say that, when this situation is over, or when we get through this, that is when we will be happy. But my friend, don't you realize that if you are waiting for your life to be perfect to be happy, then you will be waiting forever? Happiness is within those situations and is the thing that helps you deal with them.
Now, what is it that I mean by this? Well, when you are facing a problem or when you are in a difficult situation, our first go-to is to get all discouraged, to get cranky, tired, and negative. But what most of us don't realize is that we don't have to be that way, in fact, to overcome this situation as God wants us to, we have to do just the opposite! See, the enemy is always going to be trying to feed us negative thoughts, trying to get us to be impatient with God, and discouraged with our situation at hand, but on the other hand, God is wanting us to face this situation with happiness. With a smile, a positive attitude, and hope that God is going to get you through this. But it is up to you, my friend, and you need to choose happiness!
See, like I said before, if you are waiting for your life to be perfect before you can be happy, then you are going to be waiting forever.. You see, happiness is in each and every situation and moment of our lives, but we have to make the choice whether to choose it or not. We have to make the choice to be happy! God is offering it, and He is offering it to us in each and every second of our lives, so let me ask you; are you going to take up that offer? Are you going to make the choice to choose happiness? Are you going to proclaim to God that you are done waiting for your life to be perfect before you can be happy, and that you are going to start rejoicing in every moment that He has blessed you with? I sure hope so, for if you do, you are truly going to be living the life that God has created for you, and it is going to be amazing.
