Cling To The Good And Cling To God

"Cling to what is good." Romans 12:9

 In this world, if looked at incorrectly, it can seem like a very dark place. I mean, just turn on the news and you will see a collection of things that could give you that perspective. But see, God told us and promised us that bad things would, in fact, happen in this world, but He also told us to focus and cling to all of the good things of this world.
 See, it would be so easy to gain this negative mindset in which we only see the bad happening in the world. We only see the top news stories, the headlines in the paper, and the topics of many conversations; for, quite frankly, it is all around us. But if we would look a bit harder, finding the light among the darkness by focusing on what is good, pure, and right in this world and start clinging to that, that, my friend, is when we are going to start living the amazing life that God has for us, despite whatever it is happening in the world. Just cling to the good and cling to God, for when you do, you will not only see the positive things of this world become so much more prominent, but you will develop a closer and more intimate relationship with your Father.
