Facing A Closed Door

"If it doesn't open, it's not your door." Unknown

Maybe in your life today, you are dealing with being told no. You are trying to bounce back from going after an opportunity, so determined and hopeful, only to have the door slammed shut, and now you are facing the dissapointments that this situation brings along with it. If this is you today, I want to encourage you with the fact that God is the one that closed that door, and in doing so, He had a perfect reason.
Now you see, when we are told no, and when a door that we thought would lead us to so much more is shut, we begin to question God and his ways. Now don't feel bad for doing this, we all do it at times, but we try map it all out ourselves, trying to determine why it is that God shut this door, and we even try pulling the door open, trying to gain that opportunity again. But my friend, you have to know that we are never really going to understand why God is closing a door until we move on from it and look back. For when you do, you are going to realize that He had something so much better in store for you, something that He knew would benefit you most, and something that fulfills His perfect will for your life.
So today, no matter what your closed doors are, just trust that God knows exactly what He is doing, and the door that does end up working for you is going to be more spectacular than you could ever even imagine.
