One Step At A Time

"God will provide." Philippians 4:19

 I've done a few posts over the last couple of days about searching for where it is that God has you to be, and how we all tend to get lost and frustrated on that journey at times; and this was something that I was personally really struggling with, but God has brought something to my attention; something that reminded me of what He is doing and going to do in my life, and all of yours as well. You see, God is going to provide. We so often think that we want the big picture of what our life is going to be. We want to know the details, we want to know what will be going on in this aspect and that one, and we want to know not only what our lives are going to be but who we are going to be. But see, what I have recently been reminded of is the fact that God provides for us, but He doesn't provide that whole picture that we only think we are wanting, but He provides us with the guidance to take one step at a time. He shows us the next step that He has us to take, and then the next, then the next. He isn't going to give us the entire picture, for that would ruin the excitement of this amazing life that He has in store for us.
 So today, I encourage you to do as I have done, and choose to focus on the step that God has placed in front of us; and know that He does indeed provide guidance, but He does so one blessing-filled step at a time.
