God Has Not Given You A Spirit Of Fear..

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."
2 Timothy 1:7

 Maybe today you are feeling afraid, afraid of what the unknown future holds, afraid of all the
"what-ifs" that come into your mind. Now, being afraid is a natural human instinct. We can't help being afraid if something bad ever happens, but having a spirit of fear is different. Having a spirit of fear means that you are afraid because no one knows what will be next for you, when really, somebody does know, somebody has already written it all down in His book what is going to happen now, tomorrow, next week, and forever. Now when that fearful spirit begins to creep up within us, we need to take these powers that God has given us that 2 Timothy 1:7 talks about. We have the power of love. The love not only from our family and friends, but from our God is a superpower all on it's own. We can know that someone who has written your story page by page, day by day, loves you incredibly. We also have the power of a sound mind. With that spirit of fear, we can take it and hand it over to God knowing with a sound mind that He will take our problems and lift those burdens off of our shoulders. If you find these two powers God has given you, you will rid yourself of that fearful spirit and begin to live your best life and begin to not only feel closer with God, but strengthen yourself in your walk with Him.
