Build Your God Wall

"Because you are precious and honored in my eyes, I love you." Isaiah 43:4a

Sometimes it is not a situation that comes at you, but a person. They can make you feel like you are not good enough, unloved, or that you should feel sorry for yourself. Maybe you have been told this recently and right now, you are feeling pretty low. How do we ignore what they are saying to us?
First of all, know this. Nothing of what they are saying is true. The enemy wants to knock you down, but if you don't let that happen, they will give up and go away. But how do we not get knocked down when hateful words are being thrown at us? It seems to be too difficult to just ignore them.
To block out those words and to ignore the enemy throwing them at you, you need to build, something that I like to call, your God wall. Think about building a wall. It is made up of many different bricks, and when they are all put together, they do, in fact, make a barrier. So, the first things that you need to start building your wall are the bricks, right? Well, the God wall that I am telling you about today isn't made up of any old bricks. It is made up of God's words. Look at the verse above, God says that you are precious in His eyes, that know matter what others think of you, no matter what they say about you, remember that in God's eyes, you are precious. There you go, that is one part of the wall, done. Now, to start building the next part, you need to know that God honors you. Even though others are trying to knock you down, showing you anything but honor, know that in God's eyes, the God that we all honor, honors you as well. Lastly, to finish off this wall you need the biggest and most important part. That part is knowing that God loves you. Think about that, the God that created the Heavens and the earth, the God who is in control of it all, He loves you.
Now, with your wall built of all of these things, it will block out the enemy's words, and all of the words that you will hear from now on, are the ones from God.
