In It's Time...

"He has made everything beautiful in it's time." Ecclesiastes 3:11

Think about those three words, "In it's time." So many times, we try to rush God, we try to get the things that we are asking for right away, or we try to force God into making things happen quicker. But, let me tell you today, that God doesn't work that way. I mean, I am not saying that God doesn't answer us right away, but most of the time, He takes a little bit of time. He takes His time. Even though you may feel like you want it right now or right away, God is the one who ultimately decides when you are going to get anything. These days, we are in such a hurry and our lives are so busy and chaotic, when we feel like we need something from God, we send up a quick little, "Hey God, I need this.. Amen." Of course God answers all of our prayers, whether that be with a yes or a no, and there is really no wrong way to pray, but when we actually take time to pray, when we sit down, close our eyes, and not only pray, but listen, that is when you will find comfort in knowing that what I need will come "In it's time," things will get better "In it's time," I will get the answer I've been looking for "In it's time." Take a look at the verse above. What does it say that God will do in this time? Does it say that He will make things good? Does it say that He will make things okay? Does it say that He will make things better? No. It says that He will make things beautiful. Think about that for just a moment. As long as you wait, as long as you listen to God, and trust in His timing, He will take your life and make it beautiful. So if you are praying for something today, maybe you are waiting or maybe you aren't seeing anything come that you had asked for. Trust Him and know that if He doesn't send whatever it is you are asking for down to you, there is a reason and it just wasn't meant to be. So no matter if you do get what you were praying for and it was supposed to happen or you didn't get what you prayed for and it wasn't supposed to happen, we still need to take our time and listen, God is still going to make your life beautiful.
