"Listen for God's voice in everything you do and everywhere you go He is the one that will keep you on track." Proverbs 3:6
Maybe today you are feeling as though you are getting off track. Getting off track from what you want to accomplish, getting off track from the things that you know are right, or even getting off track from God, and maybe you are beginning to make excuses. Trying to explain to yourself and give yourself a solid reason as to why you are not where you could be. If you find your self in this situation today, I honestly pray that you would read this post and hopefully take something from it that will, in fact, help you learn to get back on the right track.
How do I start? That is one of the questions that people find most intimidating when trying to get back on track. With that question, we typically get an enormous pile of tasks that need to be completed, things we need to get rid of, what we need to gain. It is crazy how overwhelming it can be! But when you are just using your ordinary resources, that is what you are going to find. But, you need to start looking for answers from your extraordinary resource instead.
Now what does this mean exactly? Well, when we go to our ordinary resources, we are going to, like I mentioned above, get a mound of tasks we need to complete to get here or there, and then there will be another mound that tells you how to actually stay on track, and yes, you should be open to any advice that people give you, but if you find yourself getting incredibly overwhelmed, push all of those tasks aside and go to your extraordinary resource. If you go to God in a time like this, He is going to tell you how to get on track. But you have to be willing to listen to Him. His voice will be guiding you in everything that you do, but whether or not you hear it is a different story...
So today, take time to listen, and when you do, you will really hear God guiding you in the direction that you need to go to get back on track.
