"God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and it takes a lot of faith, but it's worth the wait." Unknown
I think that one of the hardest things that we have to do and overcome in our faith is actually one of the easiest. Patience. Waiting on God, and whether that be waiting for an answer to a prayer, waiting for an opportunity to arise, or just waiting for something like a miracle, a blessing, or really just anything to happen. So how do we find this patience?
Well, I think the that there are two things that we really have to focus on doing, those things are waiting and trusting. I think that so many people go to bed at night, say a prayer, and expect an answer by the morning. But, when morning comes, and there is no answer, they tend to get frustrated. They ask God where He is and why He isn't answering. But, if this is you today, you just have to wait. You have to wait on God's timing and not your own, because our timing is flawed, it has so many spots where we don't know what is going to happen, but God's planning, on the other hand, is just the opposite. His timing is perfect and does not have a single flaw, and He knows exactly what is going to happen in every single moment of our lives.
So that is how we can wait on God, but now you just have to trust Him. You have to give up control and hand the reigns of your life over to Him. All that you are going to do when you try to control things yon your own is stress yourself out. But, when you hand that control over to God, when you really begin to know that He has a perfect plan for your life and that it will all happen when it is supposed to, you will begin to feel a new sense of freedom, a new sense of assurance, and a new sense of comfort.
