The World May Tell You That You Can't, But God Will Tell You That You Can

"If God is for us who can be against us?" Romans 8:31

 In this world and on our path that we are taking we are going to have people that are against us. We are going to have others telling us that we aren't good enough, we aren't equipped enough, that we will never be able to do this. Maybe you are facing one, or even more of these types of people today and you are wondering how we are supposed to handle them. Well my friend, the way you can handle them is to block them out.
 You see, when we are facing these types of people, we tend to listen to what they are saying, and once they are done telling us that this journey is impossible, that you won't be able to do it, and that there is no way you will reach the finish line, we have those thoughts stuck in our brain, and eventually over time, especially when times get tough, that is when these comments rise to surface, and that is when we start to listen to them and believe what they are saying to us. This can deeply affect our journey that we are on. So what do we do to block out these comments, and what if they are already beginning to make us doubt ourselves in our walk?
 Well first of all, the thing that you want to try your hardest to do is block out the comments as they are being said. Now, I am not saying plug your ears and run away, but instead, just turn your focus. When you have someone telling you all of the negative reasons why you won't be able to finish your journey, turn your ear toward God, and He will tell you ten times more reasons why you can. And if you are already in a situation where you are starting to believe those negative thoughts that someone once told you, ask God, pray to Him to clear you mind. Pray to Him that He will take all of the negative comments, remarks, and discouragement out and fill the space with His words, then, if you will listen, you will begin to hear the words that will encourage you, inspire you, uplift you, and tell you that you can finish this journey.
 On your journey, the world may, and most likely will, tell you that you can't, but keep in mind that God will always, always tell you that you can.
