"Be an encourager. The world has plenty of critics already." Dave Willis
Today, maybe you are feeling tired, exhausted, and even somewhat fed up with the world around you. Maybe you are finding yourself looking around with critical eyes, seeing all of the things that, honestly, you really don't want to. Well, let me tell you today that, especially in today's society, we have enough people looking around at this beautiful world with critical eyes. The thing that this world needs is more encouragers.
So, if we are stuck with this critical point of view, how do we change it? How do we get that encouraging point of view that this world needs more of? Well, the change really starts in your daily life. You see, when you get up in the morning, when you rise out of bed, don't look negatively at the day ahead of you because you have to go to work, school, or do something that you really don't want to do, but rather, look at the day in front of you as a gift from God! Be thankful that you woke up this morning, be thankful you have a job, that you are able to go to school, that you have a house to clean. It all depends on how you look at it! You can see all of the blessings that God has put in your day when you look with encouraging eyes. Next, you have to look at the people around you differently. Whether these people are family or total strangers, instead of taking a glance and judging them for how they look or how they act, say hello. Wish them a good day and pray for them. When you do this, you will see a new light come into your life, you will have a new perspective for the people around you.
So, when you do these things, and yes, I know there are only two, but when you begin with these, the rest will fall into place, and before you know it, you will have a brand new perspective on life. An encouraging one rather than a critical one. A perspective that the world really needs.
Awesome!! Shine on!! :)
