Maybe today, you are feeling discouraged with the road that lies ahead of you. Maybe you feel like all of your good days are behind you, rather than in front. Well if this is you today, if you are feeling this way, than I want to encourage you with inspiration from 1 Peter 1:6...
Today, if you are feeling like all of your good days have run out, like you have used them all up and they are in your past, I want to assure you with this, from the words of 1 Peter 1:6, "There is wonderful joy ahead." Notice here, that it doesn't say that "there is wonderful joy ahead" if you haven't used all of your good days up already. Or maybe you are worried that you don't deserve that type of goodness. You have made too many mistakes and messed up too many times. Well let me ask you, does this verse say, "there is wonderful joy ahead" Only if you haven't made any mistakes? No! Listen, there are no conditions on the goodness that God has in our future. He has had it planned out all this time and He is not just going to take it out if you have already had good days in your past, He is not going to say, "oh, well you've had enough." And He is not going to take that goodness away from you because you have made a mistake, or even several! But that goodness is always, let me repeat that, always, going to be there, waiting for you to discover. And let me tell you, that that goodness that lies ahead of you isn't just the leftover goodness of your life either, but your best days, the most amazing ones that you will ever have, still lie ahead of you.
