Search In The Chaos And You Will Find Peace

"He gives me peace." John 14:27

 Maybe today, you are in the middle of a very hectic situation. So many things are going wrong, everything is happening all at once, and it is not seeming to come to a stop. You know that one of God's many promises to you is to give you peace, but right now, you are wondering if that promise is really holding true. "If God promised that to me," you might be saying, "then why aren't I seeing anything even close to it?"
 Well you see, I feel like this is a big question that many people ask themselves during a really chaotic time. But listen here, God has already given you the peace, in fact, He is constantly giving it to you! I know what you are thinking, "how could that be possible, and why would we even have these chaotic situations?" Okay, so God never said that we aren't going to go through any of these hectic situations, but He did say that He is going to give us peace. That means that, well, as much as I am sorry to say it, we are going to face a lot of these times in our lives, but what you might not know is that God is going to give us peace through all of it. The thing is, is that we have to actually look for it. We can't just stand there in the midst of the chaos waiting for it to just drop from the sky, but we have to search for this promise, we have to search for this peace, we have to search for God. See, God is always, always going to be there, but in the middle of a storm, with all the rain and the wind, He is going to be harder to see, and, just like in this situation that you are in now, you are going to have to search for Him. The storm is trying to get you to not see God, but you can defy those odds, search for God, and find that peace that you are looking for, and once you do, I am not saying your storm is going to go away, but you are going to feel this inner sense of relief, a calmness, a peace that just takes over and tells you, "God's got this".
