Genesis 1:1 - If God Performed A Miracle Then, Why Can't He Do It Now?

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1

 When you look at this verse, what do you see? You most likely see the words explaining how God created the basis of everything, and that's exactly right, but I like to think deeper into it. I like to use these words as a tool of faith in my life. So how do we do that, and what exactly is this a tool for? Well, let me tell you...
 You see, I want you to think about God creating, not only the world, but the heavens as well. It is a pretty amazing and miraculous job, isn't it? Now I want to ask you the question, could you have done it? Of course not. But God knew what to do. So if we know that God created the earth that we are standing on and the heaven that He is in, what makes us think that He is not going to be able to take care of our situations today? Are you going around thinking, "oh, this is just too impossible," or "It's just too big of a request?" Okay, so don't you know that it took a miracle to create the earth? It took a miracle to create the heavens? So what if it takes a miracle to fix your situation? God is fully capable of it! We just have to believe that He is! We have to know that if God did in the past, He can still do it now! Why? Because our God is unchanging! He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. So start believing that, our God, who created the heavens, and the earth, and everything on it can fix your problems and can bring a miracle into your life, just like He did so long ago.
