Live In A Life Full Of Possibility

"I dwell in possibility." Emily Dickinson

I love these words that Emily Dickinson spoke. Why do I? Well because I feel that, in today's culture and in today's society, we tend to look at the future with fear. We tend to look at it with a negative mindset rather than a positive one. I mean, the future used to be so full of hope and potential! Now, it is filled with fear of the unknown and worry about what or who we may become. But listen here, we need to go back to that mindset, we need to start looking at the future as a place of hope, potential, and possibility.
Think about this for a second; Think about every opportunity that could possibly lie in front of you. Every possibility that you could have based off of your talents and your passions. There are quite a lot? Aren't there? And you know what? Your future is full of all of those! Every single one! See, we need to stop seeing the future as a scary place of the unknown, granted, is it unknown, but rather than looking at it with fear, look at it with excitement! Be excited about what could possibly be in store for you and know that God only wants the best for you!
I want you to notice a word that Emily Dickinson says in the quote above. Notice she doesn't say that she thinks that a few things are possible. She doesn't say that there might be a few opportunities ahead of her, but she is saying that she dwells, let me repeat that word, dwells in the possibility that is in front of her. Now see, to dwell means to think about it, to talk about it, to live in it, and that is exactly what we need to do with the possibilities of our future! We need to think about how great it is going to be, we need to talk about the amazing things that God has in store for us, and we need to actually go out and live in a life full of possibility.
