Believe In Yourself!

  I have a question that I want to start out by asking you today. I know that many, and pretty much all of us believe in God and have our faith in Him, but do you, my friend, believe in yourself? Now, I know what you may be thinking; What does believing in ourselves have to do with our faith? Well, you might actually be surprised as to what it can do.
 Okay, so when we believe in God, it is true that He is going to take care of a lot in our lives, and He is going to do everything that we can't, but what about those dreams, those goals, and those accomplishments that you have on your heart? Those didn't just get there by accident, God put them there, and yes, of course He is going to help you reach these things, but you have to do your part as well. You need to stand up, go out there, and work for what you are dreaming, hoping, and wishing for.
 But here is the problem that so many of us face, when it comes to God, we believe in Him and we know that He can do anything, but when the pressure is put on us to do something, when God says, "Now it's your turn to do some of the work," even though we know that God is still going to be right there next to us, that is when our doubt, when our timidness, when our disbelief in ourselves seeps in. We say to ourselves, "there is no way that I could do this." "It is impossible to even think that I'd be able to do anything here." This doubt, this denial; That is what is causing us to not accomplish our dreams. That is what is holding us back for the future God has for us. I mean, don't you want your dreams to come true? Don't you want to walk into the future that God has for you? Yes? Well stand up and start believing in yourself! Know that you are equipped, you are able, and you can! You can go out and, with the help of God, you can accomplish your dreams, you can do whatever it is that you set your mind to, and you can walk into that great life that God has waiting for you, the one that you have been dreaming, wishing, and praying for.
