Take The Shot

 Most people, looking at the quote above, would think that it has to do with sports, hockey to be exact. But whether it's sports, prayer, or just life in general, this quote reigns true in every place.
 You see, what this quote is saying is that, you are going to miss all of the shots, all of the prayers, and all of the opportunities that you don't take or make. I think that, so many people think that God is going to know what they want,so  they don't have to ask for it and they don't have to do much because God's got it taken care of. If that is what your mindset is today, well my friend, I'm sorry to say that you are wrong. I mean, yes, of course God knows what we are thinking and He knows what our needs are, but He is waiting for us to ask Him. He is waiting for us to take those shots, waiting for us to say that prayers, and take that opportunity.
 You have to step up to the plate! God is going to guide you through your life but He is not going to do everything for you, and if you are thinking that these opportunities in front of you, these prayers, will just work themselves out, than you are going to miss them. You need to take a shot! You need to, with God by your side, get up, and jump into that game, say that prayer that you've been keeping inside and shout it up towards heaven, take that opportunity that's in front of you and walk into the amazing plans that God has for you.
 There are so many shots, so many opportunities, and so many prayers out there for you, and God is waiting for you to step up and take them.
