Be Still, God Will Guide You To Take This Step

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him." Psalm 37:7

 Lately in my last few posts, I have been talking a lot about taking up the dreams and inspiration that God has placed inside of your heart and running with them, getting excited about them, and working towards them. But see, when we have done all that we can, and one of our steps to lead us to that dream are out of our reach. It is discouraging and, even though you keep trying and trying, it just isn't working. Maybe this is you today, and maybe you feel like giving up on that dream or inspiration. If it is, I want to encourage you today to just wait.
 Now, what do I mean by wait? Wait for what? But listen, when we can't do anything, we need to turn to the one that can do everything. We need to stop for a minute, be still and pray. We need to take a break from the tireless effort of trying and trying and trying, and we need to just "be still." Just take a breath, stop looking at this step as if you can't handle it, but start looking to the one who can and pray to Him. Ask Him to guide you, ask Him to help you through this, ask Him to get you past this step, and to grant you with the strength and the patience along the way. But wait, after you do, it is not going to make it to where you are just automatically able to get past this, many people who think this will often keep trying and give up, thinking that their prayers didn't work. But that is not what is going to happen. See, instead, we need to wait, and we need to be patient.We need to know that, even though it may seem like God is taking a long time, He has a designated time, a designated date that He is going to get you past this step. But in the meantime, what we need to do is have patience, have faith, trust His timing, and know that, whenever it is that we get past this step will be the perfect time, and it will lead us closer and closer to fulfilling our dream.
