Stop Running On That Treadmill

"Those who trust in the Lord will find new strength." Isaiah 40:31

Maybe today, you are feeling weak. You feel as though you have tried and tried to make something in your life happen, you have tried to get it to where your hopes and dreams are fulfilled, but it is not working. Maybe you are exhausted from all of your failed trials and now, you don't know what to do. But here's the thing; there is something that you can do, something that can renew all of your strength. You need to trust God.
You see, in our lives, we like to have control. We like to know what is going to happen when, but when we live a life a faith, a life that trusts and depends on God, we need to put the control in His hands, because, when you think about it, He is the one planning it all out in the first place. In fact, He has already made all the plans, and we need to follow them.
But see, when we get the idea in our heads that we are able to make something happen or get control of some point in our lives, do you know what happens? We get too worn out to experience God's plan for our lives. I want you to think about it this way; Think of a runner, they have a big race ahead of them, but they keep running on a treadmill. They keep going and going, even though they are not going anywhere, but by the time that race actually comes, they are too exhausted and they can barely even make it past the starting line let alone the finish line. See, when we try to control our situations, dreams, and future, we are running on that treadmill. We are going and going, but not really going anywhere, and it will end up that we are too tired to walk God's path for our lives.
But listen, I have good news. If you find yourself in any of these situations today, you can renew your strength. How? Well, it is by trusting in God. By giving up the control and letting Him take the reigns. When you do this, not only will your strength be renewed, but He will lead you down a path that will lead you to a better future, one full of all of your dreams, hopes, and prayers being fulfilled, than you could ever imagine. You just have to trust Him.
