Don't Be Afraid Of Your Prayers

 This morning, maybe you have a prayer deep down within your heart. Something that you have always wanted, but you have never brought it up. And yes, God knows us inside and out, He knows everything about us, but unless you actually bring your prayers to Him, unless you actually bring them up and ask God for whatever it is that you are wanting, you are never going to see it come to pass.
 You see, I think that so many times we are afraid to ask God for our deepest prayers, dreams, and wishes. We are afraid that maybe it will be too big, maybe God will think that I am am greedy by asking for something so large. Maybe He will think of me as selfish, I mean, I am asking for something for myself.. Is this you today? Are these the thoughts that you are dealing with in your prayer life? If so, there are a few things that I want you to know.
 First of all, when it comes to praying for your biggest dream, wish, or want and thinking that it will be too big, think about it; What is too big for a God that created the heavens and the earth, including you? Is any prayer that you could pray too big for a God that can do anything? No! But God actually wants us to pray big prayers! He wants to be able to show us what He can do and how miraculous His power is! But you have to step up and ask.
 Now, when it comes to thinking that we are greedy for praying for something for ourselves, let me tell you this; Yes, we should pray for others. We should want the best for them, but we also need to take care of ourselves. God created us too, and He wants what is best for us! He wants us to ask Him to fulfill the deepest wishes and dreams in our hearts. So don't feel selfish when you ask Him to!
 So today, don't be afraid to ask God for whatever it is that you are wishing, dreaming, and hoping for, because when you do, God is going to be more than willing to show you that He can fulfill it.
