Quit Comparing, Don't Give Up, Keep Searching, And Don't Settle

"And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." Steve Jobs

Maybe today, you are looking around at all of the other people around you, fulfilling their purpose that God has blessed them with. That person there is a doctor, they are an author, they are a banker... But listen, those people, that is their dream, and the way that it is fulfilled is God's doing, and just because you haven't gotten to the point of finding the purpose that God has placed in your heart, that doesn't mean that it's not there.
Now look, first of all, you need to stop comparing yourself to others. You need to know that, whatever it is that they are doing, that is their journey, not yours, and that is where God has chosen to put them in their lives. So, without worrying about them, don't give up. Just because you aren't seeing anything being revealed to you right now, that doesn't mean it never will! God has a purpose for putting each and every one of His children on the earth, and you are no exception to that fact. But, you also have to put in an effort and keep looking. Keep searching and pursuing things that you feel have been placed upon your heart. Give those a try, look for different inspirations you get in your daily life, and most of all, listen. Listen to God and what He is telling you. Go wherever it is that He tells you to go.
Now, another point that I want you to remember today is to not settle. Don't just pick up something that you found along the way and say to yourself, "Oh, well I guess this is my purpose.." And then spend your entire life living in something that you were not meant to do! No! Do not settle, but instead, quit comparing yourself to others, keep believing, keep trusting, keep searching, and keep listening, for when you do, then, my friend, God's purpose for your life will be revealed to you.
