Let me ask you a question today; and there is no right or wrong answer, I just want to know your own opinion, and be honest too. Now, do thorn bushes have roses or do rose bushes have thorns? A simple question really, but your answer can change the course of your day, possibly even your life.
Now, I am not saying this this particular question will do that, but the answer that you give will determine the kind of attitude that you have. You see, when we look at life with a "rose bushes having thorns mentality," we are looking at the world with our negative mindset, and yes, we all have one, but we all have a positive mindset too. And we can decide which one we are going to tap into. But sometimes in life, this can be harder to do than others. It can be hard to tap into our positive mindset when so many things are going wrong around us. We can be bitter, we can be a bit cranky, and we can be stressed out, but what is that going to get you? Where is this negative thinking going to lead you? Certainly not out of this situation; in fact, it will only lead you further into it, but when we tap into our positive mindset, when we start looking at things with our "thorn bushes have roses" mentality, no matter what it is that is going on around us, we are going to get out of it. We are going to start seeing all of the wonderful things that God has placed in our lives, all of the blessings, all of the miracles, everything! We need to stop complaining and start proclaiming. Stop complaining that your life is so hard, and start proclaiming that God has given you a life to live! Stop complaining that you have to get up early and go to work or school, and start proclaiming that God has blessed you with another day along with that job or that education!
When you do this, you are going to see your life take a complete turn for the better. You are going to live a more positive, purposeful, happier, and joyful life, the kind that God wants you to live.
