"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1
I want you to really think about this verse with me today, okay? I want to dig into it and, not only find what the meaning behind it says, but find out how this quote, the few words that they are, can affect so many other areas of our lives.
Okay, so look, "God created the heavens and the earth." That is a pretty big accomplishment, don't you think? But how much are we really seeing and appreciating these things that God created? See, I think that, when we think of God creating the heavens and the earth, maybe you think of the sky, the ground or the trees. And yes, to be fair, those are part of what He created, but there is so much more! There are so many beautiful creations that God shaped and painted with His own two hands that go unnoticed every single day. Why? Because people are either too busy or they are focused on something else. But see, with all of the things out there, with every butterfly, with every leaf, every stone, every cloud, every animal, and so much many others, God created each and every one! And He did it for you! He didn't just do it for fun, but He did it so these things could be enjoyed and noticed by you.
Not only did He create all of that that He wants you to enjoy, but He created you. He shaped you, He planned out your entire life, every step and every breath you take, that is because of Him. See, when God creates something, you better believe that it is going to be spectacular, and you are no exception. He created a spectacular person to live on this miraculous earth, so go out today and enjoy it.
