The Opinions Of The World Don't Matter

 In your life today, maybe you feel bombarded by other people's opinions. Maybe you are finding yourself in a place that debates whether you should give up on this thing that is on your heart that all of these other people are opposing. But listen, whether that something be a dream, a goal, a want, or a prayer, I want you to know that those opinions of the world, don't matter.
 So listen, when people come against us, when we feel as though they don't believe in what we are wanting to happen, it's hard. It is hard to keep going after hearing opinions all over the place telling you that this isn't going to work, that there is really no way it could happen, that maybe you should work on pursuing something else. When we hear these opinions, not only does it discourage us, but it knocks our confidence down. That confidence that was once so strong, that got you so excited; and the worst part is, is that we begin to believe these opinions. We begin to think to ourselves, "you know, maybe they are right. Maybe I should quit this and go for something a little more realistic." See, this is the worst possible thing we could do! We should not let these people's opinions take hold of our dreams, wishes and prayers and steer them in a different direction. But instead, we need to remind ourselves of the fact that God never once told us that we had to impress everyone. He never said that we had to listen to their opinions. No He didn't, but instead, He just said that we need to love them. Now, what does this have to do with what I was talking about? Well you see, when someone tells an opinion that goes against what our dream, wish, or prayer is, we don't have to listen to it or let it impact us in any way! But instead, just love the person. Don't push them away hatefully, but when we love them rather than trying to please them, you will find that it makes your life a whole lot easier.
 So today, believe in you dream, hopes, and prayers, and don't let anyone change that.
