"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." Robert Frost
This quote is just absolutely beautiful, and I feel like it could really speak to some of us in our society today. See, we are expected to conform and fit into the mold that the world has for us. We are expected to dress a certain way, to act a certain way, and to hang out with certain types of people, but my friend, we need to take "the road less traveled by."
So what does this mean exactly? What can these words actually teach us? Well you see, in today's society and in a world where you are expected to "fit in" and become the people that they think you should be, and we need to take another path. Rather than becoming just like everybody else, we need to take the "the road less traveled by."
Let's take a look at Frost's words to see what else he says about it; Notice where He says, "two roads diverged in a wood." Those are our choices. There is one path in front of you, leading to the conformed life that everybody else thinks that you should live, or there is the other path. The path that not many people take. The path that will steer you away from conformity and steer you into becoming the original, unique masterpiece that God has created you to be. You have the choice of which one you are going to go down, and see, Frost says in this quote, "I-I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference." You can live a different life than the one that the world has for you! In fact, you can live the miraculous, blessing filled, and unique life that God has for you! He did not create you to be like everyone else, but He created you to be you, and you need to follow the plan that God has for your life and yours alone, and when you do, it will be one of the best decisions that you could ever make.
So go out today, and take "the road less traveled by."
