Blessing Within The Fall

"Whenever you fall, pick something up." Oswald Avery

 When I saw this quote, I found it very interesting. I mean, how many times have we all heard the words, "when you fall just get right back up again?" Quite a few, really. But what if we changed this saying that we have been told so many times and replace it with a new one? What if instead, we say, "whenever you fall, pick something up?"
 You see, when we fall and just get right back up again, like we have always been told to do, when we look back on that moment we are going to see that we did not reap the benefit that that fall held for us. Yes, God has a purpose for everything, and He is even going to cause the falls in your life to benefit you, but we have to be willing to reap that benefit! We cannot just expect to go in and come right back out, being annoyed or frustrated with the situation and come out with the benefit that it holds. No! But instead, when we fall, we need to think about the potential that this spot holds for us. God has something here that He is wanting us to discover, so we need to look for it.
 But how do we find it? And how do we know what it is? Well, I can't say what it is, God is the one that decides that, and He is going to give you something within that fall that is going to lead you closer to the life that He has for you.
 You see, when you take on this new perspective, not only are you going to find blessings that you never knew were there, but you are going to make that time a lot less frustrating, scary, and painful, and you are going to starting seeing it as beneficial and positive. So look around, because even though you may have fallen, God has placed blessings, miracles, and opportunities within this fall just for you to discover, so go and find them.
