Feeling Weak? Well, You Are Looking In The Wrong Place For Your Strength.

"Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from the things you once thought you couldn't." Unknown

In your life, do you sometimes feel as though you aren't strong enough? Well, of course you do. We all do, honestly. But sometimes it is harder to believe than others in the promise that Philippians 4:13 gives us; "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." How do we gain that strength and do those things when, right now, we don't seem to have any strength within us?
So how do we gain this strength, especially when it feels like we don't have any? Well you see, if you are feeling like you don't have any strength then you, my friend are looking in the wrong places. See, you are looking at the things that you either can or can't do. You are determining what you are capable of and what you aren't. But that is not where our strength comes from! Our strength, in fact, comes from the things that we have already done.
See, right now, to understand what I mean, I need to think back on your life. Think back to a time when you thought that there was no possible way that you could ever accomplish something that you ended up doing, and think about where that one thing, that thing that you thought you could never, ever do, look where it brought you.
So you see, that is where we need to find our strength! Rather than determining whether we can or can't do something, we need to think about all of the things that God has given us the strength to do that, frankly, we thought we never could. And why should this be any different?
