"The two most important days in your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why." Mark Twain
God has created all of us with a purpose. He has placed it within us, like a present waiting to be opened. But see, so many of us don't give it any attention because we can't see it. We can't see where it is going to lead us, we can't see what God has created us to do, so how are we supposed to follow it? How are we supposed to trust in where it is that we are going, especially when it doesn't seem that we are going anywhere? Well let me tell you today that, whether we can see it or not, we have to get excited and follow this reason that God has created us for.
Now, I know what it is that you are thinking. How are we supposed to follow and get excited about something that we can't see? Well, let me ask you this; do you follow and trust God? If you answered yes, then you are already doing that. So what makes this any different? You see, we need to trust that God has given us this amazing gift. He has blessed us with the most spectacular purpose, even greater than you could ever imagine, and to follow it, we have to trust and follow Him. See, He created us for a reason, and He is going to make sure that we reach the full potential that He as created us for, but He needs our help. He needs us to do a few things before we can get anywhere.
First of all, God needs us to trust. He needs us to believe that, even though we may not be able to see what our purpose is now, He will guide us in the right direction. That, if we give up control and let Him lead us, He will show us where it is that we are supposed to go.
The second thing that God needs us to do is to listen. If we just stop trying to figure it all out, if we stop rushing from here to there, and searching for this so-called purpose, if we just slow down, breath, and listen, then we are going to hear the direction in which God wants us to go. He will tell us which direction to go, and guide us there.
So today, just trust, stop, and listen, and you will see God reveal to you the purpose that He has created you for.
