Life May Be Tough, But You Are Tougher

"Life is tough, my darling, but so are you." Stephanie Bennett Henry

Today, rather than encouraging you to do something, change something, or find something, I just want to encourage you, I just want to fill you with Godly words of strength and confidence. Words that I hope will touch your heart, no matter where it is that you are in your life today, and cause you to walk away more empowered, confident, and inspired than you were before.
So don't you agree that life can be hard? I am confident that almost all of us do. It can feel like it is knocking us down, like we don't have a chance against whatever it is that we are facing; not to mention that it can be exhausting. But guess what? Yes, life may be hard, it may be tough, but you are tougher. God has created you to be strong. He has created you with His power and has filled you with His strength, which is far more powerful than any obstacle that we may face.
You see, God did not create us to fail. He did not set us up so that we might face this obstacle and give up, but He puts you in life's tough situations because He knows that you can handle them. He puts you in life's tough situations because He knows that you would only benefit from them. He can see where this situation is going to take you later in life, in fact, He is the one that chooses where it is that it will take you, and it is going to be so spectacular that I can't even describe it.
We also have to know that He is in control of your life, that He has you in the palm of His hand, and He is never, ever, going to let you go.
So I truly pray that you would just know that God has created you and filled you with His strength. He knows that life is hard, but He is going to make sure that the benefit of those struggles far outweighs the difficulty. Just know that He has control of your life, that you don't have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, and that, no matter how tough this situation may be, He has created you to be tougher.
