Searching For Purpose? Searching For Guidance? Don't Worry, God Has Prepared The Way.

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

Today, whether you are searching for the purpose that God has placed within you or whether you have found it already and are wondering what it is that God has in store for your life, I have some news for you; I want to tell you today that, no matter what lies on your path ahead of you, God has prepared the way for you, long before you were even born.
Now you see, whether it is your purpose that you are searching for, or just overall guidance for your life, it can be a frustrating process. It can last longer than we think that it should, but, in the frustration, and in that time when we feel as though God isn't hearing us, when we feel as though we are never going to see any guidance come to pass for us, that is when we need to change our focus.
You see, when we are focused on the frustration and when we are focused on all of the things that God isn't doing, then that is what you are going to see. That is what is going to come to pass in front of you; all due to the fact that you are so focused on the frustration, and where you aren't in your life, that we are not open to the goodness and the guidance that God has for us. But you see, if we would rejoice in the words of this verse; that "we are God's handiwork," that He has shaped us and He has molded us into the person that He wants us to be, and he is constantly continuing to do so. That "we are created in Christ Jesus to do good works," that we are made in His image, and in that image, God has created us to do amazing things, things so great, that we can't even imagine what they are. And see, we are created to do these works "which God has prepared in advance for us to do." See, long before you were even born, God had your plan and your purpose mapped out for your life and He is going to make sure you see it come to pass. He is going to make sure that you rejoice in the extraordinary future that He has created for you.
But in the meantime, keep praying for that guidance. Ask God to show you where it is that you need to go in your life, and be more than willing to follow. Not only that, but you also have to listen. Make sure that you are making time to actually listen for His guidance, for if you do, in His will and in His timing, you are going hear Him, and He is going to lead you into a future that exceeds any of your expectations.
