Stop Thinking Critical Thoughts And Start Thinking God's Thoughts.

"Let's stop listening to our self-critical thoughts and start listening to God's thoughts instead."
Renee Swope

What do you tell yourself in the midst of a difficult situation? Do you have confidence in yourself and only say encouraging words? Maybe you do, but that is not the case, however, for others out there today. See, when faced with a difficult situation, you tend to tell yourself that it is too big and that you are too small, that it is too much to handle and that you are too weak. If this is you today, if this is where you are finding yourself, take heart in knowing that we don't have to think those thoughts, and that we have the opportunity to think God's thoughts.
Now, how do we go from thinking our own little negative thoughts to thinking those of God? His mind is much different than ours. But you see, if you would look at yourself the way that God sees you, if you would look at yourself against this situation and see a beautiful creation that is strong, that is equipped, that is capable; then you would begin to think the Godly thoughts that, right now, we are only wishing to think.
Now, what is a Godly thought? What exactly is it that He thinks of us as we are facing a situation? Well you see, I can not tell you that exactly, but what I can tell you is that God thinks of you as someone who can do all things through Him. He thinks of you as someone who, with His strength, can do anything, and He doesn't want you to think of yourself as any less than that. He created you to be a strong, intelligent, beautiful, and capable person that sees themselves like He sees us. He wants us to live the great life that He has created for us to live, and we can only do so if we stop listening to the critical thinkings of our own mind and the world around us and start listening to God's thoughts, and make them our own.
